I'm always amazed at how different my ends look compared to my roots, they're so much lighter and redder! I wanna see pictures of ends vs. roots. Some of you all must have as big of a difference as me :)

Nice :) Does your henna'd top hair have a similar difference?

Dang it I'm sitting here with oil in my hair. I'll take pictures after a shower. Mine is dye free but I still have the same issue. Probably from the sun and old straightener damage.

Mine are almost orange due to color damage.

It used to bother me. It took a long time to get over it, but now I don't care knowing it'll get trimmed off little by little.

Yeah... dang that beautiful henna! I really love the color, but I want to have my hair completely natural!

Now I don't really have it, but back when I was 12 the ends were a much lighter brown than the roots, which were almost black.

This photograph kind of messed with the light and colour, but believe me, it was there XD

My ends are much, much lighter, thanks to being the leftovers of box dye damage - I'll post a pic tomorrow.

I have never dyed my hair, but I just discovered (thanks to this thread) that I have a white-tailed cinnamon bun. I guess all my brown hairs break off more easily than my white ones do.

Your browns could just be bleaching a bit with time, but your tail is a lovely white. My ends haven't been dyed at all and look quite different from what they started as.
