I was just messing with my hair and did this.

I was just wondering if there's a name for this bun because I really like it. :)

Can you explain how you did it? So many buns done the same way can turn out different LOL, so it can be determined easier if you list the steps. It is a lovely bun!!!

I don't know if it has a name already, but it looks good. I think we keep rediscovering the same buns and variations on them all the time. I don't like following directions so will often experiment with my hair until it feels secure, and then I see that it looks like the Karen Lynn knot or the swirly bun or ??

Okay I'll explain how I did it. I twisted my hair and wrapped it into one loose coil, then wrapped the rest tighter behind that coil. Then I just stuck the fork in. It feels very secure.

Sounds a bit like a bee-butt bun, to me. Or a cinnabun like mine usually end up, which is not flat but graduated.
