What kind of scissors do you use for S&D sessions? Did you buy them at a beauty supply store like Sally's? I'm just wondering for future reference. My ends are not quite long enough to see comfortably, and I currently have very few split ends, but I know eventually this is something I will need to think about doing.

I found the scissors at sally's to be way to expensive for me lol. But their are cheap ones at target or walmart where the brushes and hair clips are. I don't think there is a huge difference, but I could be wrong.

I bought mine on Amazon.com for about $30. They are the Tweezerman hair scissors with the larger sized finger holes. Once I started trimming and S&Ding with them, the amount of split ends was reduced by probably about 90%. I'm VERY happy with them. :)

I have a pair of Tweezerman hair scissors and a pair of Eckert (sp?) I got both of them at Sallys. I think the Tweezermans were about $20 on sale and the Eckerts were about $35 on sale. I like them both a lot. Years ago my first S & D scissors were WM cheapies. They worked OK the first few times but mine dulled very quickly. I think you get what you pay for.
