Somehow I'd just never got around to trying rope braiding. I did for the first time today, and I love it! If found it really easy and I think it looks really nice. (Please ignore the weird shadows...)

Looks lovely, what a nice braid you have going, this is one of my go-to styles. But with my hair barely at APL, It will take a long time to get a awesome rope like you have there!

It really looks lovely. You did a beautiful job with it. I find that people are very fascinated by rope braids in real life.

How lovely, I have just learnt how to do one of these too. :) Mine is currently bunned with about a million hair pins to hold in the layery bits.

Oh that looks lovely... I did experiment a little at rope braiding, but I couldn't get it looking all neat like that. Must have another go though!

That looks great!!

I hope to have one like that once I figure how to do it and tie it off.

I just used a little snag-free elastic to tie it off. It stays in place just as well as a normal braid.


Oh that looks lovely... I did experiment a little at rope braiding, but I couldn't get it looking all neat like that. Must have another go though! I haven't washed my hair for about a week, so that probably helps with keeping it neat :lol:

Adorable :) I used to wear my hair like that a lot in high school, I think I'll try it again soon!
