I'm curious about oil blends, mostly carrier oils. I don't know why, but I like to mix my oils, because I think it's more beneficial than just using one at a time. So, I was wondering about the proportions one would use when mixing up a blend, or if that even matters.

I have jojoba oil, coconut oil and shea butter (if that counts!). I'm planning on possibly buying avocado oil or castor oil, as well.

the only mix i use is castor oil + anything else i feel like (currently onion oil) ,im not a big fan of mixing more than 2 oils because i just feel that i wont get any specific benefits from it =/
i saw alot of people making whipped shea butter by mixing it with other oils and they say it's great.the only advice i have is being careful if you'll add olive oil because i read it will "overpower" a blend since its too heavy.

Do you have oily or dry hair? Shea ,avocado , and castor oils are heavy .
I have oily hair , so I've been using grape seed oil. Sometimes I'll add some olive or coconut .
Maybe you'll have to do a few experiments to see what your hair likes.
