Yup, it something unusual from me... did you really expect anything otherwise?
So I bought some tail socks. For those of your unaware of what they are, they are covers for the tails of horses. (Click here (http://img.smartpak.com/product/16006_Cosmic.jpg), here (http://s7d5.scene7.com/is/image/EquestrianCollections/ER01337-a?$oldimage$), and here (http://www.nrsworld.com/istarimages/p/t/pt-BL044011%21SLEAZ.jpg) for some examples.) I don't have a horse (anymore) and my tail socks were bought new. ;) So I have been wearing them. And yes, it is a little strange to see. I enjoy them because they keep my ends protected but also give me the ability to not have to have my hair in a bun in order to do so. I love to wear them around the house, especially. However, today I decided to wear my blue tail sock to school.
Leaving it down swinging behind me did remind me of the horses pictured in the links above, and I figured I should look a little better for school, even though we have people who attend the school that dress as though they are homeless so the dress code appears to be as long as you are clothed, anything goes. (Surprising for a private Catholic University, I know! ;) ) So... I made it into a tail-sock bun by using a cinnamon bun twist on it. Part of me says "This defeats the purpose of wearing the tail sock to protect your hair if you are just going to bun it anyways." and the other part of me says "Who cares? IT LOOKS GREAT! :D"
Oy, I am strange. :) Here is a picture of how my hair looks and how it will appear for school.

(Psst! Nightshade... See? I am wearing your earrings! hehe)
