Greetings and salutations, ladies and gentlemen! I've been reading for a few days, joined yesterday, and decided to introduce myself today. I've found I'm extremely fascinated by this community; it's an interest I didn't even know I had (yay for random internet goose-chase search extravaganzas)!
I was ordered to grow my hair out a little over a year and a half ago and am only allowed minimal trims as necessary to get rid of splits. Prior to that, my hair had been growing out from a chin-length style but I didn't have my heart set on any length or style in particular.
I find my hair is now longer than it's ever been, and I'm excited to see if I can take it to waist. I'm not sure at this point if going longer than that is a goal I'd like to set; I'm a fickle sort, so we'll see.
I tried my first CWC two days ago and am very pleased with the results.
