Other uses for haircare products (or the other way around)

The other day, I noticed I got my first sunburn of the year across my chest. So I'm doing my hair and thinking it would be a good idea to put some kind of cream on the sunburn. I mentally check all creams and lotions I own... but nope, none of them are right for sunburn. I take some aloe vera gel, put it in my hair and exit the bathroom.

It took me a good couple of moments to stop in my tracks and realize that I DO have some sunburn lotion, after all! :laugh:

Have you ever gotten so used to using a product for your hair that its original purpose slipped your mind?

I'm so used to using Coconut oil on my hands and my son's hair that it felt very weird to use a scoop in my baking.

I know I've never even considered using coconut oil for cooking.
