As some of you know since I posted about it at TBB, I got dreadlocks. I'm still going for long, but I'm much happier with my hair this way than before :) It's been one month so here are a few pictures of my hair now that it's gone through the locking process more.

They look great, like the sort of dreadlocks a fairy would have (if fairies went for dreadlocks, or even existed :p). I also really like the colour, it's so pretty.

I agree, they're totally fairy dreads! You know what I always loved? Those little silvery filigree beads that go around dreads or micro-braids. I think they would look beautiful with your hair colour.

WOW! You really have a good loc going on! How did you get them to loc in only one month? What products do you use? What method did you use to start them?

I'll be locing when i'm a bit older but I KNOW the process would take 6+ months for my hair to loc and even then I could change my mind and unpick them...so i'm curious how did you get yours to be so defined aftyer only one month?

I thought it was an "instantaneous" process, I mean, that it would take an hour or two to make the dreadlocks but then it was all done, except for maintainance.

Anyway, I love dreadlocks on girls, they have something that attracts me; I like your color, too!

By the way (I was going to write BTW then I said to myself no, you can't do that!), surfing the web I recently found the website of a dreadlocked cello player, Zoe Keating:

If you scroll down there are a couple of pictures of her hair before she cut it - she only trimmed the length, keeping the locks.
I like her music and performances as well!
