I see these ads for "ookisa" (osika?) everytime I go on LHC and my curiosity has finally reached the point where I have to ask; What is it? Has anyone tried it and does it do anything special?

You can try the "free" trial. But then they will start billing you approximately every 60 days when they ship you a new bundle of products to replenish your stock. Personally, anything that asks me to enroll in something and wants to charge my credit card regularly is of no interest to me. It's not to say that it isn't a good product.
