HE Rose Hips Conditioner

Okay since the dh already thinks I'm hair nuts this should really drive him over the edge. My conditioner has been discontinued for a awhile now and I'm down to my last two bottles. I noticed another thread about making conditioner at home and how less expensive it is. I'm ready to take that plunge and would like to try to get close to the Herbal Essences Rose Hips Conditioner formula. How do I figure out the percentage of rose hip extract and jojoba extract? The only other ingredient I think I might have to add is wheat protein - is this available for purchase somewhere?

There's also this great blog with a woman named Susan that explains the how's and why's of making your own stuff. I've found it most helpful!

She is also most happy to answer questions you have.... and she might be able to help you come up with a similar recipe as the one that's been discontinued. You'll need to give her all the ingredients of what you've been using and then explain your hair type, including things like oily on top and dry on bottom or that sort of detail. The more you can tell her the better she can help you with your quest. :) HTH! :flower:
