progress at 3.5 years!

Hi all- I took some pictures this morning, and wanted to share! This is 3.5 years after my big chop from past-waist to shoulder length (16").

I'm now at 40", how can that be? Somehow I passed my goal length (36") without even realizing it!

I passed tailbone length without realizing it, and am now at mid-butt (is there a nicer name for that?!) I noticed in the past couple months that my hair is now long enough to get stuck in...places...when it's down. :p

And here's how I wear my hair almost every day: a Lazy Wrap bun held with my 60th Street fork.

I think I may have to buy myself another pretty wood fork to celebrate reaching 40"! :hollie:

Thank you all! Now for the big question- what kind of wood should I choose for my new fork? Should I go lighter or darker than my hair? The fork I have is goncalo alves wood, and it has darkened significantly since I bought it, and now pretty much blends into my hair color. I was thinking bird's-eye maple, maybe.

I'll probably go with 60th street again, since I like the shape of the fork I have. Any other brands you recommend? I don't want anything too bulky.
