Need an easy half up do

My boyfriends 13 year old daughter has a graduation/ formal dance coming up.
She always wears her hair pin straight. She flat irons it:shocked:

So we are looking for step by step and something fairly simple but super cute and hopefully bangs left down. Bangs are chin length.
I get to be the hair stylist.

I can't remember where the pictures of hairstyles on here are.

How long is her hair? If you have any flexi-8s you could just clip half of her hair back and let the clip be the focal point. Or if she wants you could use a curling iron or rollers to spiral curl her hair before clipping it back.

"Bumps" are very in right now too, they require a bit of teasing as a cushion but you should be able to find various videos on youtube on how to do them. Make a bump in her crown area and clip the hair back over top of it, leaving her bangs down in front.

Her hair is little longer than bsl. Flexi 8! Awesome idea! :)
