Its a serum I bought a few weeks ago that I'm too afraid to try. I don't know the ingredients because they were on the box, not on the bottle. I think it gets mixed up with the relaxer, but I think it is a blow-dry serum. If anybody has this or access to the ingredients, could you please give your input on how well it works as well as if it is okay to use on hair?

I've never heard of the stuff, but I would do a quick google search to find an ingredient list.
As for whether it's safe for hair, it depends on what your hair likes. Most serums that I've encountered contain silicones (which some people love, and others hate.) Maybe try dispensing a little bit of it and seeing how it feels on a single lock of hair before you put it all over.

My hair responds very well to coney serums. Give it a try; you can always shampoo it out if you don't like it.
If you wonder whether or not it protects hair from the heat of flat-ironing, it helps. It makes hair slippery so that the iron can slide down it very fast without hanging up anywhere. Also, silicone is a very poor heat conductor, so it's supposed to prevent the heat from penetrating as fast as it would if you had no silicone protector.
Best for your hair, of course, is no flat-ironing.

It has no cones, I know that, but I can''t seem to find an "official" ingredients list. Its supposed to produce straight hair from blow drying alone, without having to straighten, although I was not planning on using it with heat because supposedly it helps with frizz and flyaways without heat

Interesting that a serum would be cone-free..it might have alcohol like a spray does. I tried doing a google search for ingredients and came up short. All I found were negative reviews for the system as a whole, but not the individual components. *confused*

This thread (http://www.longhaircommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?p=387706) appears to be about the same product -- Easy Straight Flat Iron Finish.
Edit: Sorry, that last post in that thread is you, isn't it. Never mind me. Oops.

It's very similar to CurlKeeper, a very popular product on the naturallycurly forums. It's safe, cone-free, and curl friendly too. Some of the other products in the line are scary, but the flat iron finish is a good product. Here's an ingredient list from ~2007. That's the version I've used. Not sure if they've reformulated lately..
Easy Straight Flat Iron Finish Ingredients: Water , Propylene Glycol , Polyquaternium-55 , Glycerin , Hydroxyethylcellulose , Polysorbate 20 , Polyquaternium-7 , Polyquaternium-10 , Disodiium EDTA , Diazolidinyl Urea , Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate
