Most of the time, I don't learn a darn thing from fashion magazines, but I did learn something from the latest issue of Allure.
If you have a baby-hair halo after you make a ponytail or updo, spray a powder brush with a little hairspray and smooth it over the whispies. It will tame the halo without giving you helmet head.

That's only a good tip for people who are OK with using hairspray! Thanks though. :)

Cool tip :)
I'm sure you could use something different than hairspray, maybe diluted AVG?

I just use a tiny little bit of gel. After my stress-shed, I have this huge halo that won't cooperate without gel.

I do that sometimes. Again, only okay for those who use hairspray!

I just rub some aloe vera onto my hands and then smooth the hairs down. I don't use hairspray, too damaging.
