(Almost) 2 years of LHC! (Image-Heavy)

Hi everyone!

My hair journey since I arrived here at LHC hasn't exactly been a dramatic transformation, but I've loved meeting people and learning about new products and hairstyles for the past 2 years. I'm posting a bit early because my actual anniversary is during my exams.

I went from wearing my ragged, messy, mousy brown hair in a single braid down my back every day to having glorious, impeccably styled, and henna-ed locks! I never would have had the courage to try henna without the invaluable advice of my fellow LHCers.

Though I've only had the opportunity to meet one board member in person, I've really enjoyed getting to know everyone, and I hope to make it to guru-dom by the end of this year!

My hair this morning, with some rag curls (ETA: I forgot to mention that I did these according to Torrinpaige's instructions for soft set curls, with a torn up pillowcase and some aloe vera gel):

Thanks, everyone! I always get such warm fuzzies when people say nice things about my hair, and threads like this also give me the chance to meet people I don't know (and have a look at their lovely hair).

Capybara, I think that the only reason that my henna hasn't darkened is that I do it very rarely-- I started using henna in October of 2008 and I've only actually applied henna 3 times since then.

I like your natural golden hazelnut brown but the warm color you get from the henna is very nice too!
