I finally made a decision and I am coloring my hair today! I took before pictures and when it is done I will take after pictures. I am pretty excited- I welcome any thoughts on my result!:D (This picture is before)

looking forward to see the results! i'm dying my hair today too, trying to get close to my natural hair color.

Ok- well, I like how it turned out. It is really subtle and my hair feels great. I used Goldwell Colorance. Side by side pictures, to compare:

It's still a bit damp but hopefully you can see a bit of a difference. :)

it looks beautiful! the change is subtle. it's richer and warmer and has more depth.

your hair is GORGEOUS. hands down one of my favorite heads of hair I've ever seen on this forum.

I recently colored my own. I've colored for years myself and the last color I did totally pleased me. I generally stay in my color range, only going a couple shades lighter to brighten and hide gray. Plus I don't use anything with the harsher chemicals and I've never found it to damage my hair, in fact my hair is at it's best immediately after coloring.. fuller, softer, and a pretty color :-)

However I will never ever highlight again, as that stripped my hair and in a year or so when I recover from my haircut disaster I will be trimming off the last of the hair that was damaged.
