I have a very long journey ahead of me, first to get my hair to grow and then to grow it to tail bone. Its going to take at least 9 years once its growing, less if Im lucky.

I would love to see any pictures of your hair, to give me inspiration, to help me when I want to give it all up and just shave it all off.

I would very much appreciate any pictures given, no matter the hair length, since they will all me longer then mine.

Thanks every so much.
Purdy

PS: Any healing prayers and thoughts are also very much welcome.

PPS: Heres my hair at the back at the moment,

You have to be patient if you want long hair but I know you can do it!
And you can start with totally virgin hair which is very good!

Sending a big hug, Purdy Bear! You can do it!

There are lots of pictures in a thread here (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?p=1047533#post1047533). I don't know if you will have seen that thread or not, but there are loads of pics from forum members of lovely hair in all lengths and colours! Personally I love looking at that thread; I find it very inspirational.

Hands down, the most inspirational pictures and story I've read here are by igor. She grew hair from bald to THIGH!!! Her experience should be in the article section of the site, if I'm not mistaken...

Absolutely GORGEOUS hair she grew!!

I don't know what you're going through to cause this, but it's only temporary, and I'm sure that your hair will grow back quickly. I'll be praying for your healing (again not sure exactly what for)

It'll be no time before your hair is long.

Purdy Bear,

Your picture below will be my inspiration for some time to come. When I had almost no hair I received my own inspiration from my daily interactions with people in the real world. Anonymous men and women of long hair fortune kept me thinking of my own goals and hopes of being long someday. May this work for you too.

Healing thoughts and prayers are always yours.

Mark

This one keeps me going when I feel like I'm not getting anywhere.

Keep looking forward. When I get frustrated, I just keep thinking in a month or two it will be longer. I picture it in a year and beyond. I'm growing it out from a severe razor cut layer style and the ends were bleached and destroyed. My hair just breaks with bleach.

The things that seemed to stimulate growth is Rosemary Scalp massage, Castor oil and vitamin supplements.

You are an inspiration and my prayers are with you. Please keep us posted with your progress. Happy, happy growing. :flower:

((hugs)) You'll get there! I second the rosemary scalp massages. I had a pretty bad post partum shed a few months ago, and I did a few evoo and rosemary eo scalp treatments with tremendous results! I'll be praying for your health! :)

Hugs and well wishes, Purdy. :) Your attitude is healthy even if your follicles are temporarily challenged.
