After watching Captain Janeway on Star Trek Voyager having a wonderful Gison, I was inspired to try and do it myself. Heres how I did it, it still needs some practice but I dont think it looks too bad.

First I took all the hair in front of the ears and slightly behind it, I crossed the left hair under the right hair and held it in a high pony tail.

This iliminates the central parting. You then give it one twist and squig it forward to get the right puff ness. You then make the rest into a twisted bun on the crown of the head. If its too far forward it wont work, so needs to be on the crown.

I then took the back, and devided it in two with the right side being slightly smaller then the left. Gathered it up to the bun and twisted it so it went round the bun to make another layer of it and pin in place.

I then took up the other side and laid it across the other bottom hair and round the bun, and began to pin it in place first, then twist it so it now goes round the bun in a third layer and pin in place.

Last of all you pin the left side round to cover the right side to complete.

And so its the Gibson Bun:

Hope you like it!

I always wanted to know how to make a softer bun like that! Thank you so much Purdy Bear! :flower:
