Hello everyone :waving:

I'm looking for cheaper alternatives for cone free conditioners. Money is getting tight so I can't really afford my usual conditioners :wail:.

I was looking at the cone free UK conditioners thread and saw Inecto pure coconut oil conditioner was cone free. :D

I tried looking at the review section and threads for more information about this conditioner but I couldn't find much.

A few questions :)

Does anyone know where I can buy this?

Does it moisturize well without weighing the hair down?

Have you experinced build up in the hair with this conditioner?

How much is it roughly to buy?

Thank you everyone! :)

I use it!

I buy mine from BodyCare, but I am quite sure Superdrug sells it too. It is under 2 quid (sorry, not entirely sure how much off the top of my head).
I find it moisturises very well. I don't know about build-up - I don't think so in my case.
I love it and have been using it for a good long while now. It smells really great (quite strong though, and it can linger).
I also use in as a leave-in.

Hope this helps! I thoroughly recommend it. :)

I have a Superdrugs. I will take a look in there tomorrow for it. :)

It sounds like a lovely conditioner and cheap too:D.

Thank you for the information and help :flower:

Yes, it's definitely available in Superdrug. It smells and feels gorgeous, but played havoc with my scalp (this isn't new though - most conditioners do!)

I'm going to town in a minute and have a look in my local Superdrug for it. I can't wait to try it out :D

Thanks again :)

Yes, i use it too. I like it very much. It moisturizes very well.
I don't know about build-up or weighing down, i think that is very dependant on how often you use it and your own hairtype.

*Update*

Thanks you all for recommending me this conditioner.

I love it! :crush: I'm so happy with it :joy:

It does as good of job as my usual conditioner. I can't believe how cheap it is. I got in Superdrug for £1.99 500 ml :D

My hair is full of bounce, soft and so shiny.

The smell is wonderful.
Thanks again everyone :flowers:

Glad you like it!
I use Inecto shampoo and conditioner too.
The conditioner only on the length.
It leaves my hair smooth but not flat

I love the Inecto shampoo and conditioner (only lengths) - it smells divine and my hair loves it. Highly recommended!

I've never met anyone who loves Inecto coconut as much as I do. Most of my friends have never heard of it. I first used it in university in about 1999 when I had bleached hair dyed purple. It even managed to keep my colour long lasting.

Now I use it for the first conditioner in CWC, for SMTs, or for even CO. I love it. I never find it builds up or leaves my fairly fine hair looking flat or dull.

I do not have a bad word to say about this conditioner!!

I love this conditioner, and the shampoo is great too. The smell is heavenly! The conditioner is very good at moisturizing and it's not too heavy. Right now I need something heavier but I intend to happily get back to this one when most of my damage has grown out.

I also use this conditioner as CO or SMT, I love the smell and it is great for my hair, very moisturizing.

I can't figure out if this is sold in the US ? I found it online but it is overseas and cost over 30 dollars to ship which is out of the question. Is this product sold in the UK only?

I use both the conditioner and the shampoo, it works great.

But be aware that the other inecto coconut products, mask and leave in do have cones!

I have heard that inecto also has a lemon productline but have not seen it here yet.

Me and DS (DS is 14, with almost-waist length hair) - love this stuff.

I initially bought it to do henndigo glosses because it was inexpensive, coneless and had no mineral oil (my hair hates mineral oil).

Now we use it all the time. You can get it from Superdrug, as others have said. Pretty sure it is under £2 for a 500ml bottle.

I get through so much of this stuff!!! I am a coconut addict tho! My local superdrug didnt have any last time I went, and I couldn't find anything else good for hair!

An amazing product should be bumped to show everyone how amazing it is! ;)
Anywho, I use it as a sort of deep conditioning thing, whenever my hair needs a good 'ole moisturizing. Leaves my hair ultra soft and smooth!
I find it maybe a bit too heavy for normal everyday.

Wanted to add to the thread that the conditioner is standard 50p cheaper at BodyCare! £1.49 instead of £1.99

I use both the shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo is pretty mild, as sulfates go. The conditioner is not hugely moisturising on my hair, but my hair likes a lot of moisture so YMMV. The smell is divine. :cloud9: I haven't tried it as a CO yet, but I will soon. Highly recommended. :)

I know this an older thread, but have to say this conditioner is my favourite. Great for COing and only £1 from Homebargains! They also do an intensive conditioner that is lovely, think it was only £2.

Savers sells it too, a bit cheaper than Superdrug if I remember rightly. It didn't do much for me - hair felt a bit tacky, not nearly as soft as usual, but after reading everyone else's comments I'm wondering if I didn't give it a fair trial.

I've used it, with molasses rather than honey, and it works quite well.
I use it for regular CO washes too & I adore the smell & the fact that it's cone & protein free but i'll still be looking for something more moisturising when the bottle runs out. My hair is super, super dry, fine & coloured.

Yep i used it in SMT with honey, but i think the aloe gel i used wasnt good so it didnt work well...

I have been using Inecto for CO-washing for a few weeks, but have just slapped it on as a deep treatment with added coconut oil (two parts Inecto to one of oil, emulsified well). Applying it was lovely, lots of slip and hands are not greasy! :D I cannot believe I am the first to think of this, any comments?

The Inecto with added coconut oil rinsed out well after being in a towel turban overnight. As I have wurls it's hard to know what the result is, but my hair is soft and has some sheen even tho I used less leave-in conditioner. :)

Just bumping this thread up!

I used the shampoo and conditioner today and absolutely love it. My hair feels very soft and looks mirror shiny with this. The only downside is the smell a little bit fake coconut but it doesn't linger so all good. Oh and got it from Poundland for erm a pound!!!

Wow, old thread but I just have to add that I also just tried the Inecto Coconut Oil Conditioner and oh my gosh, it is the Holy Grail for me! I don't know what I am going to do when I get back the the USA and can't find it. Maybe it will be sold there by then, I can hope! My hair is fine, and regularly, I cannot use cone free conditioner without limp clumpy tangly hair. This stuff is cone free, and makes my hair feel like silk, so slippery, I am having trouble with my hairsticks staying in! LOL I'll take that problem with a smile, any day, if it means my hair is too soft hehehe. Even my Husband noticed! Ahhh.

I got addicted to this condish and bought two bottles...discovered later one of the bottles was the shampoo they look exactly the same...I'm gutted as it's always out of stock in Superdrug and I am never really lucky whenever I go there!

Another person who likes this condish. The shampoo is quite good as well if you don't mind sls. The conditioner works well in smts and it is great to soak hair in to get out any excess oil before washing.

I LOVE Inecto so much!

Their moisturiser is really nice for your skin too, and their body lotion...

If you keep an eye on Savers they often have it on promotion. I tend to buy up everything i can when they do.

Another vote for this stuff. I used to use it all the time then my local Superdrug stopped stocking it :( I've since moved house and got a bottle yesterday from my new local Superdrug! I hope it's as good as I remember. I'm sad that the shampoo contained SLS, sulphates give me eczema so I really can't use them.

If you ever see me mention something I use the ingredients are probably in my photo album on LHC. Ingredients "Water, cetearyl alcohol, stearalkonium chloride, cetrimonium chloride, coconut oil, fragrance, magnesium nitrate, methylchloro-isothiazolinone, magnesium chloride, methylisothiazolinone, citric acid."

I use this as my co-wash and detangler, too lightweight to condition my porous colour treated hair. Cheapest at BodyCare and Home Bargains.

I use this conditioner to dillute treatments and also as the conditioner in my toner. I hate thick condish, usually add water to the bottles, but this one has the perfect amount of runniness.
