I need your help !

my mom as dyed her hair forever... since she started greying (she is in her upper 50ies). She uses chemical permanent dyes (brown) and she has short hair, curly, about 10 cm long.

Now, she's going to be a grandmother very soon ( :cheese: ) and she is decided to let her grey self out... but she would like to transition without too much of a "shock-change", if possible...

so she would prefer not to bleach until white, nor shave until bald...

any ideas on how to do this without bicolor brown/white hair ??

would semi-permanent dyes be a possibility ? any plants could do this ?

any ideas welcome !!!

Thanks so much :)

What about going to a salon & getting highlights. Ashy, blond???
I haven't used a chemical dye, so I don't know if washing her hair & sitting in the sun would lighten it or not. That's how I dry my hair, so I've got some light brown, blond, and silver in mine.

Have her join :flower: that way we can support her. We have a salt and pepper thread that's purpose is to encourage people as they transition...Some have chopped, some are just growing out...Everyone has a different journey, but we encourage the member on whichever path they choose.
