Hair sttyle help quick please

I have to go to a easter conference tomorrow, and I need help! I want my hair half up, the bottom down hair is going to be curled. What can I do this the top portion. FYI the top portion is VERY layerd, and I don't like the 'messy' look. Any suggestions?

Maybe wrap then into little buns and pin them in place. The layers wont show and it would be nice and neat.

How about french braiding the top portion? If there are any layers still sticking out, it is easy to hide bobby pins in a french braid.

A lace-braided headband can be nice and will probably hide layers well, especially if you can do it with a touch of aloe or leave-in to help keep ends contained. Here're instructions for what I'm talking about. (http://www.dreamweaverbraiding.com/braids/lace.htm)
