I'm at 36.5 this month.

Yea!! I am officially 34" after my 1/4" trim Tueday night. Pre-trim I measured 34.25" and post-trim landed just barely at 34, so I'm claiming it! Pic in my trimming/growth progress album.

I'm at 30.75, so I grew about 3/4 inch last month. Some more awesome growth news....it's been a year now since I've used chemical color (I use henna now) and I can still see a slight demarcation line. I measured, and I grew 7.5 inches in the past year! I'm considering a big trim this month to even up my hemline and going back to 28". We'll see.

I'm at 30"! That's .75" from last month, which is unbelievable for me!!!! I measured it five times just to be sure, lol. PLUS my circumference is up from 2.25" (measured last June) to 2.75"!

I am so pleased!!!! Yay! I guess I should diet more often. I've lost 6 pounds this month, so I didn't think my hair would be growing much. I've been eating more protein, so I'm guessing that's a factor. I'm usually lucky to get .25" growth, so .75" is astounding. :D

It's so hard for me to measure my own hair. I first measured it to 31", then a second time to 30", then a third time to 30 1/2"...So I have no idea what my true measurement is.

I'm calling the overall length the same, since I am going through a shed, but my virgin hair is 8 inches, so that is 1/2 inch of growth.

Got measured this morning and my son reports that it is 33 3/4 to 33 7/8. I think the middle part of my hair from nape of neck to mid-back, is getting thicker as more hairs are growing longer due to wearing buns instead of braids. Yay!

I'm at 22.5. Just cut off 3" last month. My hair is slightly longer than my Avatar.....I'm actually below APL and nearly 2" from BSL. Got a LOT of catching up to do and a short time to get there. (My personal goal).

I'm at 23" again. I cut way back from my 26.75" where I started to get rid of damage and layers. Actually, I had had it out to around 28+" but it was worth the cut. I couldn't take it anymore. Although, I probably could've gotten away with keeping a little bit more length if I was COing at the time. Oh well. At least I won't have to trim for quite awhile. Anyway, I'm happy because it seemed like I was stuck at 22-22.5" forever.

My hair grew 2 cms (0.8") in March. :cheese:
It usually grows 1cm (0.4") per month. I started to use a hair tonic for growth last month, I think that has helped a lot. :p And spring is here...
So now it's 44.5 " but I'm trimming in the afternoon. :scissors:

How do you all measure once your arms can't go that far over your shoulders, but your hair isn't long enough to reach up from the back?? I can't ask DH to do it... he thinks I already do enough "weird" stuff with my hair!

I took my first official over-the-head LHC measurement last night, and came out at 26". My layers are significantly shorter though (more like 18 inches), so it feels a lot shorter.

Ok so this month I measured my hair when it was wet. That made it 20 inches!!! :D But since I measured it dry (curly) in March I don't really know how much it has grown. It was 18 inches dry then. I measured it dry too, and it was one or two centimeters (yep, mixing imperial and metric.. baby, I'm an anarchist) longer. The curls were probably a bit stretched out this time though. I must say it at least *feels* as if it's gotten a little longer since last month :)

Hmm..apparently I've gained an inch since the last time I measured (the beginning of last month... I measured 3 times.) I even had a trim...it wasn't much though!

Measuring in at my regular 1/2 " gain per month. April = 23.5".

I'm so happy to see progress and am enjoying the pleasures of long hair. I have noticed that all winter I wore it down to keep me warm and now that spring has sprung I'm inclined to pull it up. Nice to have the diversity ... when I was pixie it was the *same ole same ole* all the time. :gabigrin:

My husband laughs at how disgusted I get with my monthly results. I can only assume I am not behaving with gracefully maturity. Maybe it was because I yelled, Bloody Hell!

Actually, I don't think he is measuring carefully and I think I've got some uneveness and that he is measuring in a short spot. In sum, I don't belive him. .I think my hair is more like 36-3/4" but whatever. LOLOL

I'm at 25.5", up 1.5" from last month? Not sure if I got a miraculous growth spurt or if possibly I measured wrong when I got 24" the beginning of last month, but 25.5" is correct now, I measured it like 5 times, haha. I'm not really sure what my normal growing speed is, since I've only been at LHC for a little over a month now, and I never measured my hair in inches before this. I didn't trim this month. I'm going to wait until I get a bit closer to waist, so it will be easier to bring my hair around front to see it as I trim. It's possible at BSL but not very easy...

I would use a piece of string cut to your goal length, then hold a mirror and measure up from the bottom of the string to see how many inches you need to subtract from the sum total (:
