After months of wearing my hair in an English braid, I've decided to venture out again. Trouble is, now that I've reached classic (yay me!) my buns are all wierd--too many coils around, won't stay up. I've gotten some new bigger hair forks (Baerreis Nautilus, 3 prong 60th Street, and two from Grahtoestudios) and now need to find some buns that work.

What works for you at classic?

What I used to do was just tie my hair in a knot (twist, make a loop, and pull the hair through) and then wrap the rest around it and secure with a hairtie. But I'm starting to think that's not the best for my hair, especially the ends, so I'm looking up more buns too.
These are some of the ones I've tried (from the forum itself, so you might already have them) and all have held surprisingly well.
