Aloe juice

I was wondering if aloe juice would have any purpose in hair care. I know aloe gel is used quite a bit in different applications but I don't care for all the rest of the "stuff" that usually is found in the gel form.

For instance, could you use the aloe juice in a SMT?

I've got a 1/2 gal jug that I use for consumption but of course I gotta know if I can use it for my hair! :p:D

Aloe vera gel is basically aloe juice with some thickening agent added to it. So they can be used in the same way, naturally the juice is going to be runnier.

Personally I only use aloe juice, and if I need something less runny, I'll add some thickening agent myself, like xanthan gum.
