Curly Sock Bun *pics*

I had a thread going about club styles and I decided to throw together something that I've never tried before.

I wanted it to look cute, done up and BIG. :D

So I pulled it all back into a high ponytail at the crown and smoothed out the front. I eased some of the hair on top forward to give a little bit of shape and keep it from looking too flat up there.

I put my sock bun donut around the base of the ponytail and took 1/2 inch wide sections and pulled them to the front of the donut. (One at a time) I then pinned the little section down so that it looked like it was wrapped all the way around the donut. I curled the remaining hair around my fingers until I got to the base and pinned that.

Around and around we went and this is what we got -

I went back and pinned the fizzy bits and made sure my donut was well hidden. It's really cute from the front :)

It took a lot of bobby pins though. :o It sort of looks like one of those hair scrunchies around a sock bun. haha!

Very cute ! How long did you leave this bun in? If for several hours then when you take it down your hair might have some curl to it (mine does when I do something similar) .

I got into hair in a serious way when I watched notoriousnoee's video on You Tube on how to do it. I will always have a rather soft place for them.
