Not the best picture in the world- I haven't washed my hair in a few days so it's flat, plus, taking pictures of the back of your head when you don't have anything to mount the camera on are hard! lol But what does my natural colour look like to you guys? Does it look "pretty"? Is it worth trying to grow out (eventually)?

Sorry for the horrible pictures all 'round lol

This was my natural colour a few years ago:

And a when I was younger (No idea why it's sideways):

I should note- the red is fake! lol

Ooo, I really like your natural color! It's kinda a slate-blackish. It might be different once it's grown out, though. I'm partial to dark colors, though - I really love them. I wish my hair was as dark as yours!! I have to dye mine to get it to look like your natural color. :)

I like it a lot, but I'm quite biased towards natural hair colours. :)

It looks like a chocolatey-ash medium brown, but it will probably lighten up a fair amount as it grows. In your past pictures, it looks almost auburn though!

When i was little, it was blond. Like bleach blond. Then it got darker as I got older- but it seemed like the roots were always way darker than the ends. I've been thinking about colour-oopsing my hair sometime and getting it as close to natural as I can- or just cutting my hair off and starting over- when and if I decide I want to go natural.

My hair did much the same thing; I started life as a blonde, but by the time I was 20 or so it had darkened to that amorphous dark blonde/light brown thing. I had a really hard time adjusting to that, so that's when I started doing all kinds of things to streak or lighten it, all of which were horribly damaging. If you decide to lighten, please be gentle!

To me that looks like a light ash brown/dark ash blonde.

Gosh, I'm seeing red on my monitor. Maybe some henna? Anyway, it looks nice to me too.

Very dark brown, like a brazil nut, infact its almost black. Heres a pickie of when I was a youngster:

This looks exactly like my colour- the last time I saw it anyway.

I think it looks dark brown, with a lot of natural shine. I like the colour and I think that if you grew out the colour it would look really glossy and pretty.

Your natural color is pretty! It looks like mine in the first one (at the roots), actually. I was a little hesitant to grow mine out, too (in fact, I couldn't even remember my natural color!), but it was the best decision I made. Your texture is lovely, too!

Good Luck! :)

It can't hurt!

That's the great thing about growing out natural colour, it's not like you are going to regret it! If in the end you don't like it, you can easily colour it.
Win-win

I would call it chesnut brown. It's really pretty and rich looking.
