Maybe you could put the bows on some hairsticks and do a celtic knot bun?

ETA:
OR! Separate your hair into 4 buns and put them close together forming a 4 leaf clover shape, pin the buns and use the bows as an accent?

ah, it´s a great thread, I´m interested too. I´m planning to spent this night in an pub, I´m red haired and want to wear a green dress. But I need some ideas for my hair!

A few years ago, I wore my longer hair in side braids with green ribbon going through it. I loved it.

There's a youtube tutorial on doing a 3 leaf clover.... Don't know if it would be any help to you but it's there, maybe you could decorate it with green ribbons or clips.

I've never done anything with my hair for St Patrick's day but I do have some green elastics and green ribbons so maybe I could this year??.

I love the 3 leaf clover. Not so keen on the elastics but I will play with the idea sometime. . .

You could braid the ribbon into your hair and then do a bun. This is what I did for Christmas.

There is the link - I can't post images - must learn.:o

I'll be at home St Patricks day gardening like crazy so I'll wear green but probably not do any fancy hair.

I'm going ribbon shopping later today!

I plan to braid my hair, I want to show of my length but do not want the damage that comes from being in a crowded pub and being pushed arround a bit.

Avoiding hairsticks (I have a lovely green one) as I'm short and do not want to stab anyone!

Although this is a mom who does this to her little girls hair, I have subscribed to her, as she has the most unusual and amazing hair ideas, that could be replicated at any age (mostly).....I love the waterfall braid that she does, too. :D

A crown of clovers? It might be pretty..

Last year I did a crown braid stitched into place with green ribbons. This year... um... I dunno.

Kinda like the four-bun idea, but I don't know if I'm able to finagle that (not extremely hair-savvy).
