I hope this thread doesn't exist already. Anyway, I didn't find it. :D

So, I'll start.
43.7 inches for me, with the usual 0.4 inch growth. And it's as long as it was before I trimmed it in January. :puppy:

I seem to get a different measurement every time I try even though I swear I'm using the same method each time. I give up :)

23 for me. I'm 4 inches off BSL, that's how I know. ;)

I dont track growth per month really, but it's nice to be back at 23 and on the road to 27.

38“ for me! But I have braid waves today, and my tape keeps changing his mind between 37 1/2“ and 39“... I'll measure again later this week to be sure, but since I was at 37“ in january, I think this is a normal growth of half an inch per month. Yay!

Hiriel
March 1st, 2010, 10:27 AM
77.2 cm = 30.4 inches, a 0.5 inch increase :)

Ravenne
March 1st, 2010, 11:32 AM
Well, with just letting my waves do their thing and taking a picture of the tape measurer, my hair measures in at 22" exactly. Not much real growth from what I can tell. :( But then again, my measuring has been really inconsistent. I'll keep doing the picture taking thing and see how that does for me.

DBF measured yesterday at 27 5/8ths. Just under half an inch this month ...

29.25" after a big trim last month.

My hair grows slowly. :/

Lykaios

29" exactly. I got a trim the other day, needed it badly :(

ChrissieM
March 1st, 2010, 12:58 PM
I've been trimming a little.....so I'm right between 30 and 31in. I got about a half inch of growth though judging by henna roots. Normal for me. My hair seems to be thickening up a little, so I should measure circumference again soon.

farewell_nancy
March 1st, 2010, 01:13 PM
25 inches wet and stretched out. I couldn't get consistent measurement with my waves otherwise.

March 1st, 2010, 01:14 PM
I meassured a day or two ago and ended up att 28" which is only a 1/4 of an inch growth...

SheaLynne
March 1st, 2010, 01:14 PM
Pre-trim last Friday, I measured 33.75 inches. I trimmed 0.25 inch and measured again at 33.5 inches. That is up from 33.0 after my January trim, so 0.75-inch growth in a short month. :D

GeoJ
March 1st, 2010, 01:22 PM
No growth this month.

21.75" today. I don't usually measure until the middle of the month, 13-16, but I want to participate in the monthly measure-in this time! :p

WOW!

I just come had a 1 1/2 inch trim a few weeks ago....

and...

My hair measures 22 1/2 inches!! :cheese:

It's never grown this fast... then again, it's never been this healthy, utterly 'virgin', and so happy with my current products and regimen as ever before, either.

time to change my profile length WHEEEEE

girlcat36
March 1st, 2010, 06:40 PM
24.5" that's nearly an inch of growth, but I have curly hair, so measuring isn't completely accurate.
I have increased my iron intake, and started a hair skin and nails vitamin 6 weeks ago. Maybe that has helped.

jasper
March 1st, 2010, 06:41 PM
:( 35 inches. again. just like last month and the month before.

Garnet66
March 1st, 2010, 06:56 PM
I got 17"!! I trimmed almost an inch off a few weeks ago (went back to 16") and have gained that back. Been taking some vitamins so I'm very happy that they seem to be working.

Ballerina_Boo
March 1st, 2010, 09:25 PM
Just measured and I've hit 22' so I'm pretty pleased. Ive also been taking vitamins good to see they are working :)

I'm not doing any sort of measuring, just taking pictures every month. Right now my hair needs a trim since I have long layers, but I am not giving in. I'm going to try very hard to get it to a little below waist before I cut the layers off. It'll look horrible for a while, but I'll be wearing it up most of the time.

mizk5110
March 1st, 2010, 09:55 PM
Whoops!! When I measured earlier it was with bunhair - just brushed out my freshly washed/airdried hair, and I hit 23" (measured 3x) - 3/4 inch, not 1/2 like I thought. :D so happy, since I only gained 1/8-1/4 inch a month in the last couple months.

Kelli Kat
March 1st, 2010, 10:25 PM
This is my first time measuring - 25.5 inches.

March 1st, 2010, 10:30 PM
Darn. Mine is also the exact same as last month (30 inches). I am quite confident I measured correctly both times. Hmmm...

countryhopper
March 1st, 2010, 11:15 PM
I measured the other day... now at 18.5" Half inch of growth for this month!

(breakfast today was oatmeal with millet, flaxseed, and bananas. Lots of silica for hairgrowth... I hope! I'm going to continue eating this and other foods high in silica for hair growth)

bridgetsgirl
March 2nd, 2010, 12:00 AM
21 3/8"...7/8" in 28 days!!! The evening primrose oil, gelatin, multivitamin and ginkgo I take daily must be doing it! I also realised my hair's a lot curlier than it was last time I typed it...I went from 1C to 2C, quite a jump!

56.5 or 56.75 really but I only do half inches, so I'll say 56.5"

March 2nd, 2010, 04:16 AM
Just measured this morning. First time I ever measured was January and it was 36". Now it's 36.25" yay.
Granted a quarter of an inch isn't much growth over nearly 2 months. But I've been S&D ing a lot which I think has shortened it a little, but my hair is much happier as a result. I'm just glad there is some growth despite the frequent S&D, snow, ice, wind and stupidly cold weather we're having at the moment and a lot previous damage from dyeing and bleaching.:)

The first time I measured in December I must have done it wrong since I got 30" and when I measured yesterday I got 28". I know I've grown since December because I can see it in my photos.:eye: Oh well. Is there a way to make sure you have your head at the same angle every time?

21, up .5" from 20.5.

Back to APL, heading towards BSL!

Woot! My hair seems to have grown 2 cm! Actually my sister measured more but I'm taking the two... :cheese:

It brings me to 42.80 inches, or 108,5 cm... This is so awesome! I'm getting to 110 sooner than I thought! Let it be next month please!!

YAAY :flowers:

March 2nd, 2010, 08:44 PM
I measured 20 inches. :cheese::cheese:

I'm going to use this as my base because after a month of fiddling with my old measuring tape and trying to hold my head just right, I finally bought a new tape with *large* numbers and have figured out how to get a consistent measurement.

walterSCAN
March 2nd, 2010, 09:42 PM
I hadn't intended to measure again this soon in the month (I'm going for measurement every 2-ish months so I can't get too obsessive), but according to DF's eyeballing of the tape measure, I'm at 29.25"! I just had to measure so I could post in the 'total length' thread...

That's 1.25" in ~2 months, by the way! :bounce:

March 3rd, 2010, 08:41 AM
I am at exactly 48", 4 ft long from forehead to ends. Which is a milestone for me, as it has been my goal length in the sidebar for awhile. :D I guess 52" will be my new goal! :cheese:

dragonfrog
March 3rd, 2010, 04:29 PM
38.25"

That means I got an amazing (for me) growth spurt of 0.75" in the last month, usually I only get 0.4"/month. Yay!

Gabriel
March 4th, 2010, 08:38 AM
A little over 36" for me this time.

InTheCity
March 8th, 2010, 03:05 PM
Something magical happened, because on March 2nd, I was at 25"

February 12th, I got a nice little chop, that took me from 25.5" to 24." It was more than I wanted off, but I badly needed it.

Anyway, I was hoping to see 24.5 because trims sometimes kick my hair in gear, and 24.5 would have meant my usual month growth in about 2 weeks. But like I said, magic! 25 inches and happy as a clam! :D

I also had a somewhat of a stall from December to February, so I guess that's how it all works out to average 6" per year.

I'm late posting but I do like to track monthly for my own history.

23". Yay!

It's getting easier to grab hair from the back and that makes me feel like there's progress. The pic isn't so great with the black sweater, but I'm happy with the feel and length.

I'm a mid-month measurer because I joined the site mid-month.

25.5" for me - exactly the same as last month. Rather disappointed :(

Joette
March 16th, 2010, 08:54 AM
I estimated on a piece of string and measuring with a ruler to get somewhere around 25" near the beginning of this month. I've got to go get a tape measure so I can get a more accurate measurement!

Fayjoi
March 16th, 2010, 09:08 AM
I totally forgot to post, but I measured 31 inch. A stable growth of 0.4 inch.

DaniiL
March 17th, 2010, 12:01 PM
A little late, but better late then never! ;)

I'm at 22 inches, or 56 cm. That's only 1 cm of growth from last months, which was the first time messured it. I hope it'll grow faster during summer.

But I think it's so difficult to messure! I get different results every time!
How do you all do it??

lapushka
March 17th, 2010, 12:07 PM
24.4 = 62 cm - lost about half an inch a few days ago to even out some layers and to maintain at BSL for a while (don't know for how long). The trip to WL is going to be a long one, as I am having difficulty with going past BSL. The length feels kind of awkward to me then and takes some getting used to.

Finally just about rid of my protein overloaded & damaged hair. . .had to cut back a year's worth of growth, just a week or so ago to: 36-1/4 to 36-1/2.

But it's healthy and I am ready to head back to my next goal, classic length. :cheese:

March 20th, 2010, 04:32 AM
37.5 inches. Thats about an inch growth since last time I measured. But last time was at the start of the month so it makes sence that it's grown almost an inch.

Getting ever closer to goal length. Although I am having a trim during the next week hopefully, so that will set me back a little. Oh well, two steps forward, one step back.
Regrowth is getting incresingly longer though, I am so happy with that. Grow my little virgin sprouts!

2.5 inches untill the end of my measuring tape!
