Progress since joining LHC (pics!)

Wanted to share my progress with all of you - my hair grows quite fast normally, even when I was neglecting it and treating it horridly. But since I've been applying all the fabulous knowledge I've gleaned from this site, my hair is more healthy than its ever been! So thank you LHC :D

This was my hair in late Nov, just above BSL. I trimmed it one inch a few days after this was taken.

Thank you! And no I don't use henna, my med. brown hair turns a bronze red colour if I'm out in the sun a lot. Which I am, a lot!

Wow! that is some great growth! and awsome color! if you don't mind the question, what do you do to get it to grow so fast? or is the natural growth of your hair accelerated? My growth has finally started to grow faster, but wow! that is some great growth you got in just 3 months!

Its just the natural growth. I don't take supplements or do anything special. Everything on me grows fast - fingernails, toenails, I spend a small fortune in leg razors :o.
One thing though, I have always had a very healthy eating pattern. I don't eat processed/packaged foods or much refined sugars. I consume a lot of fruit and 'real' foods. Eat lots of greens, whole grain breads, which I slather with real butter, salmon and any other meats. And a bunch of Bananas :D
Odd thing is, I don't drink much water. Sometimes I'll go all day without more than a half glass. I drink tons of milk. Used to guzzle a whole gallon in a day when I was younger, and it is always organic whole milk. And mead. I love mead. Perhaps that's the secret!

what is mead?

Mead is a very ancient drink - it is made from fermented honey and water. It can be made with other ingredients as well, depending on what country its made in. Its recorded origins date back as far as 7000 BC I believe. Norsemen drink it quite famously in many ancient writings, including Beowulf.
Its not real widely known in the US, most common in the Nordic countries, Britain and Ireland.
And it is DELICIOUS.
