I know sometimes those of us who haven't gotten to the extra super duper amazingly long lengths yet kind of feel left out when it comes to updos.

This video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rk_byfrpMtk&feature=sub is from one of my favorite inspirational girls on youtube. She uses 2 pins, a hair tie and one large fork type pin. The style takes 2 minutes and I bet it would look amazing at the end with a flower on the side or some other sort of decoration. (where she puts the first pin at the beginning)

She even shows it at the end of the video using a short stick.

I'm going to try this one tomorrow and see how it turns out. :)

Yay, that looks fantastic! I'm really not so great at updos, I'm trying to learn more things as my hair grows longer - but that one looks like something I'd be able to do... Thanks so much for the link :)

You're welcome sarah061! :)

The other thing I like about it, is that it looks kind of big too!

Yeah, I liked that too! And the hair flower was seriously a work of art. I can't wait to try that :)

Edit - Oh wait, the hair flower was in that other video of hers - I've been watching quite a few, haha. It was in the Party Updo that Manderly linked. Pretttty <3

Her hair seems to be really thick, I wonder how this would work with thinner hair? Or wavy hair? I'll have to try :face:

That would look cute as a half up too.
