Hi everyone,
I'm a long time lurker, turned member, and I've already learned so much from this site. It's a little bit of a "where have you been all my life when I've been busy envying Bollywood hair when I'm not lopping it off to my ears," type of thing.
A bit about me:
Most of my life I fancied myself a short hair type of girl and loved short hair. To me, Natalie Portman, Audrey Hepburn, Kiera Knightley, and Halle Berry embodied the perfect woman with short hair, and I wore a bob like my mom (easily the loveliest woman I know) for much of my life.
But eventually, I had to make peace with the fact that I had masses of steel wool growing from my scalp and only straighteners and blowdryers could tame that. So if I can't have a chic, vaguely punkish bob (yes, I managed it), I might as well aim for epic hair, right?
