I missed my one-year, so here's a 13-month update!

Stuff happened, I went away for a while. So, to make up for it, my hair after 13 months of the LHC. A lot of trimming occured between these two pictures, by the way!

(And yes, I lightened my hair. Specifically, I bleached it. *hides* The last picture is after henna.)

Your hair looks beautiful, shiny and soft. such nice waves and lovely color.

everyone's hair is different, as long as you don't bleach all the time it should be ok, just do alot of deep moisture treatments.

I used to bleach every 6 weeks and the result for me was gummy hair, so i decided to go natural again and used henna, have not gone back to bleach ever again.

Bleach just makes my hair fall out so I try to do it like 3 months apart. Its hard for me to stay away from it but the last time I got highlights it killed my hair. So I decided no more highlights but yea everyone is different. I want my hair to be purple though, is there any way to do that with Henna?

Oh, I will definitely won't be bleaching again. I just needed to get the black out of my hair. I've trimmed and done a lot of protein treatments since there, and my hair seems to be okay. It really did a number on my scalp, though.
