Today I tried Snowymoon's Moisture Treatment.
The results? Delicious, beautiful, soft and shiny hair.

I took these images after my hair dried and I had gently combed.
Here is a link to the recipe of SMT: http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=128

Now i'm tempted to give it a try :D did you use the recipe exactly as it is, or made any changes?

I only made a slight change, I added more aloe because it is useful for my problematic scalp. Other than that, the recipe was the same! :) I really recommend it.

What kind of conditioner did you use? Or did you use oil?

This definitely seems to be one of the most loved recipe's here on LHC! I'm glad you had such great success with it! :cheese:

Ooh! Nice! I did an SMT yesterday but added a bunch of different oils!

SMT is one of my favorite things!

I used Mill Creek Biotin Conditioner (http://www.vitacost.com/Mill-Creek-Biotin-Conditioner).

Slightly off topic, but do you like that conditioner? It's on sale and I kind of want to give it a try.

I do like it, but I don't love it. It makes hair soft and smooth, the only thing is that I don't like the smell (peppermint). Otherwise it is a great conditioner.

Okay, thanks! I'll use up some of my other stuff then decide.

I love your hair, by the way! Looks like the SMT was a success. So shiny! :)

Beautiful, shiny results! I'm planning to try my first SMT tomorrow; I hope I get similar results. I've only been here a couple of weeks, but the changes in my hair have been amazing. My hair loves coconut oil and I love hair sticks.

Your hair looks great! SMT is also one of my fave treatments and i adore the results. thanks for reminding me to do it more often. I'll be doing the SMT today instead of my regular condish. My hair needs alot more moisture right now due to the weather and i've been slacking alot on doing SMT's.

Absolutely gorgeous! I really need to do an SMT; it's been way too long since I've done it!

I never omit the conditioner but I like to add a few drops of oil. I'd suggest if you are a first time SMT'er, making up the recipe according to Snowy's instructions and then modifying it for following uses. I often use 2 or 3 different conditioners in my mix. Also keep a record in your blog of the mixes you like and don't like and tag those entries "SMT".

Ooooh, it looks wonderful!! I've been here almost 4 years and haven't tried SMT yet! I think I might have to try it now.

I cant believe I was afraid to try it (for almost a year)...
I use Nioxin conditioner (or cheaper sallys brand) for that lovely minty tingle it gives

Your hair looks so good!

I love SMTs. I just did one today, actually (waiting for my hair to dry as we speak!) :)

It looks SO nice. I wish I could have known about SMTs and LHC back when I was your age, but the internet didn't exist back then!
