From the various pics (warning there are some victoria secret pics in here (http://hairstyle-model.blogspot.com/2009/07/miranda-kerr-long-sexy-hairstyle.html)) (see the top pic): I'm gathering she has naturally 2Fii or iii hair (maybe 3F even). I've seen pics with those pic rollers in... but I can't find any instructions on her hairstyling.

How would I go about getting the wavy style in the pink sweater pics here (http://www.google.co.il/imgres?imgurl=http://www.hairpedia.com/hairstyles-celebrity/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/miranda-kerr-015330.jpg&imgrefurl=http://hairstyles365.blogspot.com/2009/07/miranda-kerr-hairstyle-miranda-kerr.html&h=600&w=403&sz=324&tbnid=nSpPhk9NKEG0oM:&tbnh=135&tbnw=91&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dmiranda%2Bkerr%2Bhairstyle&hl=en&usg=__ECzhVzOfD0BXB8pgttMTAKh346k=&ei=-7R8S-iGIZT20wSojuHXBQ&sa=X&oi=image_result&resnum=2&ct=image&ved=0CAsQ9QEwAQ)?

I'm not mostly into tools, in fact I don't really own any, but I want to venture out there for special occasions.

Oh, and what is this haircut? I'm seeing mostly really long layers with some shorter layers in front...

ok is your hair layered its a must here!!!
you need soft long layers from shouder to past bra strap
the oil lightly and set on big velcro rollers blow out or air and style
have them taper you front at about the chin

MissMandy is right. You'd have to have your hair cut into lots of layers from front to back to achieve this look. Mine might do that naturally if I layered it this much and blowdried it with the help of a round brush, but I don't want to risk the layers I've already grown out.

I doubt that her hair is iii either. I just looks like she has a lot because the layers and the body of the curl add so much volume. I'd say she's a 2a-2b/M/ii
If her hair was pulled back it would probably look much thinner.
