And I cut (well my new stylist) cut it to here.

I wanted her to add layers to give it movement because I think it's flat... and she said no because she didn't want to ruin my hair. And DBF said "You shouldn't do layers because when you like put hair up and stuff in things, it's going to stick out and you're going to be annoyed" LOL. He does listen.

You have a clever stylist and BF there. :agree:
Your hair looks gorgeous! I love the thick, even hemline.

I love your hair! So beautiful!
And well done not getting layers! I regret every single one of mine.

Thanks, I know some people don't mind fairy tale ends, but I hate them on me.... they dont look right with my style. I lost only about 3 inches max. Its hard to tell in the photo it looks like more. But it was barely 3 inches.

I agree about the layers -- I think you'd regret it. The cut turned out GREAT!!! Lucky you to have found a stylist (and DBF!) who listens!!

Really beautiful, morguebabe. :blossom: Fairytale ends aren't for everyone.

Good choice about the layers. I tend to agree.

Wow, that makes me want to cut and get the blunt ends again.

That looks great!

I think both the stylist and your BF are keepers.

I know how you feel about fairytale ends. The trim looks great.

I can't believe you only cut 3" - it looks like so much more. I've always liked your hair, both the before and now the after!

I prefer a straight hem, but that's me :D You have beautiful hair regardless!

It looks fantastic. I like the blunt, thick hemline and the streaks running through your hair are so pretty. :D

Hang on to that stylist. And your BF. :D

your hair is beautiful. :cheer:
I like the thick hemline but I liked also the fairy tale one. When hair is nice, healthy and shinny like your is everything looks beautiful.
Your BF knows a lot about you and your hair.

It will be at least 5 - 10 years before I have hair like yours, if I ever get it that long. Your hair is beautiful. Don't ruin it with layers. I have layers and have noticed that although I use to like them, I now no longer have any use for them and want them to grow out.

Beautiful! The cut does make a drastic difference -- it looks like you cut a great deal more off. It looks great :)

Looking good! Have to say, I liked the pointy ends as well since they add to the gothic look :)

I had layers, and I didn't have any problems with them.

I, uh, sorta accidentally got them all cut out except for the ones in front...I think, but uh, a little gel and I had no issue. The gel is mostly for the stuff in front, though. That layering I -do- have issue with.

Looks nice, though I did like the fairytaling.

Nice trim. Very pretty. I like how it is in a U-shape. I much prefer that to the straight across cut that looks so artificial and unnatural imo.

I love when hemlines are cut like your's. I think that it makes your hair look well-kempt (is that even a word?lol!)

It actually made your hair look thicker!

I'm so happy that you didn't get layers. I'm trying to get rid of mine and it has taken a long time and I still have ways to go. You hair is gorgeous! If I had your thickness, I would have it long and lush forever! It's so cute how your DBF was concerned for you and your hair. Sometimes, my BF will say something that surprises me and shows me that really does listen.
