My February update! (new pics)

Hey guys. The month of February is when Chinese New Year starts. So to celebrate, I went and did something a little different with my hair. I went to the salon and had curls done! I wanted loose curls, so my stylist wrapped small sections of my hair around a curling iron.

Oh and I also got a new leather bag. :p

I could be wrong here, but Eric, it looks to me like you are linking pictures from a private album. I understand making pictures friends-only, but I don't really understand why you would make a thread on the mane forum, only to show pictures that are private. Why not just make it an album only, or maybe a blog entry, if the pictures are only for your friends?

Of course, I could be mistaken, and perhaps you didn't realize you were linking to private pictures that not everybody can see, or maybe the links were broken... or who knows. Just throwing that out there.

Looking forward to the year of the Tiger. We had some lion dances a couple of weeks ago, but I'm going back to Chinatown during Chinese New Year for the lion dances and the fire crackers. We go every year because my kids love "feeding" the lions.

Guinevere, I would LOVE to fly down to Oahu one day. Right now I could use about two or three weeks of straight up tanning. I have some family friends in Hilo on the big island, but they tell me the rain is ten times worse than Seattle over there!

Seriously, I really do carry my life in my bag! I will usually bring an extra buttoned down shirt or in the case of this exceptionally cold winter a sweater. Then there's also my hand cream and my day planner and well you get the idea. :p

I don't think the rain here is bad at all. It does rain just about every day, but only for five minutes, maybe. I've never been to Seattle or Hilo, so I wouldn't be able to say for sure whether they compare. Hilo and Honolulu are (relatively speaking) close, so you'd think the rain amount would be pretty similar.

You should totally visit Oahu! It's beautiful plus you can see the country AND city all on one tiny island. None of the other islands can say that.:D

Pixna, actually this is a chemical hair colour, not henna. I've been lightening my hair with bleach gradually since last August.
