I'm going to a party on Feb. 12th with a bunch of people from high school and I have no idea what to do with my hair. I tried looking on youtube and found some cute things, but they are all for shorter/straighter hair than mine. I figure, that if anyone has any ideas, it's you guys. I have a round face, high forehead, waist length curly hair, so I am thinking something looser around the face would be ideal since I don't want my face to look huge (chubby cheeks run in my family), and I haven't the slightest idea how to do the back. Any suggestions would be great. I'm willing to try anything, but haven't yet mastered updos with my heavy hair so easier is better. Thanks for any help!

If you haven't quite mastered updos, how about a half-up (which might make updos simpler because there's less hair, or you could even just make it as simple as clipping your top layer of hair back), perhaps with a few accent braids or something?

Oh, that could be very cute indeed. I may have to try that. Thanks.

I think half up would be cute. For your hair this look would be nice

Just make one braid at each temple and pin them together at the back. Its best to angle the braids backwards as soon as you start braiding so that they will lay flat against your head.

I personally love this:

I've done it with only two sections in the back and that looks cute, too. You could loosen up the front or stick a flower in it. This one is cute, too, but I haven't tried it:

Good luck!
