Hey guys. I needed more practice on my braiding and updos for my training at the salon, so I did them all on my mannequins.

I'm much better at doing these styles on someone else's head, its just impossible for me to do them on myself as neatly and evenly.

Here's my best Chignon. I pinned a rose to accent the bun.

Argh, can't see the photos. But speaking of fishtail braid, I managed my first one (french fishtail) today. It took 4 pages of notes & a few arm rests....but it's up. :cheese:

Looks great! I wish you lived closer to me, you could practice French braids on my hair all you want! I can't French braid at all

Those are some killer kool looking braids. Especially the multicolored fishtail, that one I find the most difficult to do!

Franny, your braiding skills make my jaw drop to the floor, I only wish I could one day perfect some of the styles you've done like the crown braid. :thumbsup:

All of those styles are very nice-looking! You did a great job on the chignon too....but my favorite is the fishtail with the vibrant colors braided in. :D
