I didn't believe it would happen, but I am already noticing a major change in the way my hair feels since arriving at LHC about a month and a half ago.

I used to flatiron every day, now do it twice a week for "important" events (job interviews, dates). My hair still looks awkward if I leave it down and don't straighten it, so I wear it up 99 percent of the time. When I do heat style my hair, I wait at least half an hour after washing it so it can dry on it's own as much as possible.

I switched from expensive Redken Cool Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner to kiwi-scented Down Under Naturals from the drugstore. I also started using a Leave-In from Aussie.

I stopped washing every day, now I wash every two days at most, sometimes I stretch it out til three.

I had a haircut on December 27 to even things up and get rid of the most damaged bleached ends.

My hair feels so much healthier now and it's growing a little bit faster. It feels like "real" hair as opposed to straw. I can see all the new growth at the roots (because I used to dye my hair blonde) and I think it looks really good. It's grown about half an inch in three weeks.

I'm thinking about taking some more supplements to speed up hair growth. I can't find Biotin anywhere where I live but I hear Folic Acid is supposed to have a similar affect.

None of this would be possible without LHC and the tips I have learned here. I find LHC to be a very open community, some people use "natural" products, some people don't, some people heat style and dye their hair, some people don't, some people grow to classic, some are happy at BSL (where I want to be). So thank you LHC!

I will put up some photos in the next few months as I gain more length.:cheese:
