Hi again,
here's another bottle of shampoo & conditioner kicking around the house.
I previously posted a question about herbal essence & wanted to see how the suave ranked. I really value all your opinions & am curious how many of you approve of suave green apple.
I have a shampoo bar coming in the mail & will be transitioning over to shampoo bars (hopefully my hair agrees).
I'll be using a vinagar rinse but may still need a conditioner in the house as some of you use it after shampoo bars.
would a baking soda wash get rid of the cones in my hair?
I also have giovanni triple treat tea tree shampoo & condish that I usually use.
thanks

Suave green apple was one of my favourites, actually. Now I'm stuck on the blackberry tea tree one, or whatever it's called. And I think BS would get rid of them, but it's really harsh

I did a search for the suave natuals line (the one that has cocunut, orange tangerine, green apple ) but couldn't find one that was blackberry. sounds nice! I'm in Canada so maybe they don't have the same line as USA

suave green apple should get cones out of your hair. I like suave shampoo with thicker conditioners... Suave conditioner with suave shampoo doesn't work well for me though. The conditioner is very thin, and makes for an excellent CO wash, but doesn't have enough moisture for my hair after a shampoo.

thanks so much! which (thicker) non-cone conditioner do you like with suave shampoo?

I think she means the V05 Tea Therapy Blackberry Sage. V05 and Sauve are often group together because they're both natural, low cost, cone-free products.
I've only used Sauve Green Apple Conditioner but it was very moisturizing and the smell was to die for

Maybe that's not even the brand or the name, idk but it smells great lol. I use vo5/suave for cowash and leave in. I haven't found a good leave-in conditioner yet, so I'm still using suave or vo5. The green apple one is one of the thicker ones, but I can't think of any thicker off the top of my ead.

Green Apple and the Coconut one are the thicker ones.
@cocass

I usually use cones, but I alternate with readily avaliable non-cone conditioners. Garnier has 2, the body boost and the sleek and shine (check though, sometimes they change the formula and pop in amodimethicone... its in the first 3-4 ingredients if its in there though). Loreal vive has 1, its in a light pink bottle with a blue square on it and it's for "long to medium hair that's curly/wavy"... that's how I find it anyway :) although its not in every store.
ETA: actually there's another garnier one but I've never tried it. Its in the darker green bottles and isn't sold at my usual grocery store. It also costs a bit more than the usual ones. Intense treatment or something...

My favourite Suave conditioner is the Green Apple one! The coconut is good too. I have the orange one now and I'm not really enjoying it

I've used the green apple, coconut, strawberry and orchid petal :) So far, I really love the strawberry and orchid petal :) Both smell divine!
I haven't been able to find v05 here in Quebec.
