I'm Trying to teach my daughter to do different things with hair. I show her some of the stuff you post and she LOVES it. I have never been able to do my own hair except for pig tails or just one tail. I fail hard when i try. Right now she has put my hair (just the top up into 2 barrettes and named it Jarjar Binks (starwars) hair..LOL. More styles would be nice. So if ya'll know of some stuff that easy not to hard for a 13 year old with my length could do please send them my way =).

Thanks

I started braiding (http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art24923.asp) wool before I tried it out on hair. Putting some time aside to just have fun with your hair at home there's lots of YT videos that have hairstyles from simple to more complicated.

How about a two strand twist braid? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47BrZ3C2Uzw

Or a braided beehive: http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/vbjournal.php?do=article&articleid=130

Both are quite easy to make :)

There's a wealth of hair how-to videos on youtube which have taught me almost everything I know, particularly TorrinPaige (http://www.youtube.com/user/torrinpaige) and Hypnotica (http://www.youtube.com/user/4ypn0tica). :)
