Hi everyone!

I thought I'd post some updated photos. I joined LHC about 18 months ago. I had started growing my hair a year before that from a chin length bob.

Here is the day I joined:

Here is one year anniversary:

18 month anniversary and my third henna, which I am loving!:

The bottom of the black band is the bottom of my bra. My ends are just touching the top of the black strap. Am I at "can I call this BSL" yet or do you think another inch or two?

Thanks for looking and for all the great advice! My hair thanks you too!

Great progress! It looks like you should not be wearing shor sleeves where you are...ha ha. I'm freezing just looking at the backdrop.

Wow- nice locks! Your hair looks very much like mine, with that nice ripple wave to it. My goal is the same as yours, and I also use henna. What does BSL stand for ?(yes I'm a complete newbie!). What type of henna do you use?

BSL stands for Bra Strap Length - usually the bottom of the bra strap.
A lot of people confuse it with "below shoulder length." :D

ETA - Some people do legitimately consider BSL to be the top of the strap as well.

Your hair has grown loads, id say your at the upper end of BSL which some use as there land mark, I prefered hair to be covering the strap but yes if your landmark is top your there girth, for bottom I predict april will see you there!

Congrats on your length, Id say thats deffinetly BSL for sure :cheese::cheese:

kinda makes me sad to see that because thats exactly where I should be had I not cut back to neck length last Feb. lol gives me encouragement though that I'll be there by the end of this year though, thanks for sharing:)

Thanks for all the nice comments! My hair is just barely touching the top of my bra strap, I can't wait till it is past it! That was my first big milestone. My eventual goal is waist.

Ravenwaves: LOL, yes it is cold here (about 10 degree's). I had to run out in the sun, have DH snap a picture and then come back in. :)

KarenSJ: Welcome to LHC! I have been loving henna! The first two time I used Yemini (sp) from Hennaforhair and indigo. It worked great. This last time I used Light Mountain red henna from the health food store. It also worked just as well. They are about the same price, but I didn't have to pay shipping, so that was cheaper.

RedneckPrincess: I always imagine how long my hair would be if I didn't cut it 2 years ago. But you are getting there too! Your hair has grown a lot!
