Hello everyone! I hope your days have been as lovely as mine.

Since I've been stressing myself out over silly things, I thought it was high time to treat myself. Today has been full of healthy and guilty pleasures. I went to the gym, read, made myself a plate of sun dried tomato linguini with roasted grape tomatoes and parmesan, took a loong hot bath with epsom salts, and now I have a lavendar-olive oil deep treatment in my hair and a royal jelly creme on my face, and my feet are in those goofy fuzzy socks. :wethree:

To top everything off, I decided to take a trip to Sally's tomorrow to get myself a treat. I deserve it after all! :p

I was writing for some suggestions on what to invest in. I am 3b, medium fine, medium coarse, and I am on CO wash only. I am also on a budget!

A vitamon store is right next door so I might look into silica supplements. But again, price is an issue right now. Let me know if you have any recommendations!

PS. There is a grocery store right here too. So if I ought to be investing in an avocado or something, let me know that too. I will take all suggestions to heart.

Sending hair love to all of you :inlove:

My friend lives by Miracle 7 Leave in Condition, she says it's the best leave-in she ever tried. She has long hair too and it's really nice. It's only $12. It's got a 98% rating out of 44 reviewers on Sally's site.

You can never go wrong with their samples and try a few.

I'd read up on silica. Flynn informed me that all it really does is pass through your body with no effects on hair. From what I recall there is a form of silica that does affect hair but I have no other information on it.

Thanks for the responses guys! The Sallys unfortunately was a mess because they were moving everything all around and changing the set up. I was thwarted, and bought a bottle of acv at the supplement store. I will read up on silica. (They didn't even have any there).
