Does anyone have any experience with these rollers? I just saw them on YouTube and then checked Walgreens and at $10 they seem worth a try.

My curly pic in my signature and the ones in my album were all obtained using the wrap, snap
& go.....as a natural "straightie", I love them for when I want a change!

Yes, it is basically the same thing......for those of us who don't have time to make our own.....they are basically just a glorified rag roller....

I bought them years ago. Of course when they were more than $10 lol They are just like a rag roller with some sponge through them. For the price if you want to give them a try it would be worth it.
They are nice and soft.

These (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpxzUOt36l8&feature=related) are not the wrap, snap&go ones. I thought they would be similar as I like looser curls. I don't know where to buy this kind though.

Well my server apparently does not have permission to view the Wallgreens link, but I like the other links that were posted and am going to try some out! I like the idea of convenient, simple curlers.

oooohhhh... I want some!

Those of you who have used them, did you do wet hair and sleep on them?

Search ebay for soft pillow rollers. They're about the same except for the snap, and they're much cheaper.

THese look great. I have been wanting to try something. if you use more hair on each roller then will you get softer curls?

Yes, the more hair you use on each curler, the softer and looser the curl.

In response to a previous question......I can't set mine completely wet, or it will never dry. I usually dampen my hair a little with a leave-in, and then sleep on them.....

how does one roll them so you get nice curls? DO you start at the bottom and roll under as you go up?

Torrin has demonstrated them (pillow soft rollers) a few times in her videos.
I love her tutorials BTW!

I do mine a little different than Torrin does in her videos....I use smaller sections of hair and do a spiral wrap, and roll them all the way to the scalp....

I'd forgotten I have a set of those. Thanks for the links to the Torrin videos. Those were great.

How do you do a spiral wrap? Sideways around the roller?

Thanks for all the discussion on these rollers. I guess I'll be making yet another hair purchase. ;)

I have these. I used them quite a bit. I couldnt sleep well with them all interlocked because they were too bulky. I also got too many kinky frizzy curls if I used one seperately. What I ended up doing was doubling them up and wrapping hair around two of them. I had enough to do 4 or 5 larger sections that way. This gave me a nice body wave without the frizzies. Using end papers always helps also.

I've had these for years, and they work great. I usually do like Dolly, and dampen my hair with a little leave-in, or water and conditioner. Not too much, or my hair won't dry and all the curls fall out. I usually start a few inches up on the hair, and wrap the end around the curler, and then continue rolling up to the scalp.

Pay attention to which way you rolled the end, so you don't end up with your curl changing direction! lol

I always get compliments on the curls that I get from using these.

Definitely worth trying out!

Exactly.....you hold the roller in a vertical position and wrap the hair around it kind of like a candy cane.....always gives me great ringlets....I like to finger comb them out to get "big hair" like in my sig pic.....the curls are actually more defined than that pic appears.....the curls turn out gorgeous, and people who don't know me say...."Oh, I wish I had naturally curly hair like that!"

That makes sense.. but, Dolly, how do you then keep the rollers from falling out, when they're vertical?

They interlock and snap together.

I love these! They're so comfy to sleep in, and they give me such perfect curls in the morning. :D Wish they come in different sizes though. I'd love to have big loose curls too.
