My sister's going to a semi-formal on friday, and she needs updo options.

She has waist length 1b hair, so almost anything is fair game. I actually wanted to show her the Rose buns someone posted a while ago, but I can't remember who. I think they'd be perfect for her, but anything would be nice. ^_^

Thanks!

There's tons of nice styles here: http://www.longhairloom.com/stylingstationcentral.html

Also, if you go to the archived LHC forum, you can go to the article section there, and there's some great styles listed there, too!

HEhehe, one reply. Thanks though. ^_^

She actually decided she'd rather fry her hair and curl it, so no biggie. D:

Aww, sorry to hear that! Oh well, that was nice of you to want to help her, though! :D

My family had a concert at a symphony hall.
I sister helped me do my hair in a simple, but elegant updo. :)
I shampooed and conditioned my hair the night before, then blow dried it...
I then put my hair in a pony tail and sectioned off pieces of hair and put them in sponge curlers...
Before the concert I took out the curlers and the ponytail holder, but didn't brush out the curls (this was to keep them from getting frizzy)... I straightened the front of my hair but didn't touch the curls. I did it in a french twist starting at the nape of my neck...
Here is a picture from the back. I was happy how it turned out. Thanks to my sister and her help :)

Well, if your sister changes her mind ... ;)

I posted instructions for my Double Rose Buns here (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=804).
And there are cscheck's Roped (Rose) Bun instructions on the archive forum here (http://archive.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=56072).

(Lovely, elegant do you've got there, courtney_1991. :) )
