Yeah... i couldnt resist the play on words :p. Anyways after seeing a number of threads looking for reccomendations and knowing all the searching i do when i am looking to buy (especialy mail order) new products or find a better deal it would be good to have a quick list of where people get their stuff.

If you could please tell us your general location (USA, Canada, Australia, ect...), provide a link to the website where aplicable (if that doesnt violate any rules that is), and sort by catagory (henna, indigo, oils, ect..). Thanks :flowers:

Natalia

P.S. Im sure this exists many times over already but i figure a refresher to weed out expired links and such as well as maybe links to the other threads would be helpful.

*Updated*I am in the US and off the top of my head mine are -

Oils -
When im not buying locally i prefer to buy from http://www.swansonvitamins.com/ . They have flat rate shipping so thats nice when your buying heavey things. Be sure to look in culinary as thats where most of them are listed. If something isnt available there i get it at http://www.amazon.com/

*New* Since i was looking at lotion making supplies i was browsing oils and though i havent checked shipping i know i will be ordering a few exotic butters from http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/ .

EO's -
I either buy locally or order from the same company as above (Swansons).

Honey -
Ok yes im boring but i also order all of my raw honey through the same company as above (Swansons).

Various Herbs & Powders -
So far ive only purchased these through http://ruchita.mybisi.com/ .

In the future im intersted in ordering from http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/ and http://www.herbco.com/ .

Well, this won't be helpful for too many people, but I'm in Serbia, and these are some places online where I get stuff:

Herbs, Dr Hauschka products, and some natural products, as well as the only shampoo bars I've found in Serbia so far : http://www.biospajz.rs/index.php?op=home

Shea butter, some oils, other stuff: http://www.zdrava-kozmetika.com/

Tons of different oils, EOs, Logona products, Sante products: http://prirodnakozmetika.com/

Some Ayurvedic items: http://www.ajur-veda.rs/proizvodi/

If you are visiting Serbia it would be good idea to try one of the best Balkan herbs ever packet in a small jars. Yes, organic cosmetic with lot of essential oils, organic bees wax, infused oils and vitamins.
I really love their products https://royalbalm.rs/.

I love this idea for a thread. I'm in the UK and most of my shampoos come from www.superdrug.com, and almond oil from there too.
Things like Vitamin C powder or citric acid from www.amazon.co.uk
Conditioners at the moment mostly from pound shops or Savers (in person, but if they sold online that would be awesome!)
Other oils I did buy from www.thesoapkitchen.co.uk because they were cheap to try, but I don't know how good the quality was. I think I'd look to Amazon or eBay next time if I wanted to buy anything I couldn't get from Superdrug/Boots or in person from a supermarket.

For higher-end products www.qvcuk.com can be quite good to try something new, because they have a virtually unconditional 30-day money-back guarantee. You literally can try something, even if you use the whole bottle, but if you don't like it for whatever reason you can return what's left (even if it is just the empty bottle!) for a refund. But they only usually sell the more expensive types of haircare brands.
TKMaxx is a great place if you want to try higher-end things at a discounted price; some are online but they have much more variety in the shops.

This would of been helpful when I was in Croatia (I think?). I forgot to pack my hair products.

Great idea!
I like to order my oils or shea butter or aloe vera stuff from here : https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/naissance
They also have their own site, but I like ebay's buyer protection. I was first ordering from them when I was in Denmark, now I am in Czech Republic, I believe they ship to most of the Europe, maybe you get better shipping rates if you are in UK.
Especially worth it if you are ordering larger quantity of oils! :)

I was totally thinking today that I should be posting for fellow AUSTRALIANS that Priceline have 40% off Herbal Essences products, and a few others. Every now and then they have 40% off their entire range of hair care, it’s judt a matter of signing up to their catalogue via email!!

Iím in the states and I buy most of my hair stuff from www.vitacost.com. All the organic brands you can find at Whole Foods are available and lots of oils for cheap. For stying products I usually purchase from www.ulta.com since they have deals all the time like 50% off or buy 2 get 1 free.
