Do you absolutely need an SLS shampoo to get rid of cones?

My hair hates cones with a passion. I've never felt my ends this tangly before!!! help!:confused: TIA!

It depends on the 'cones and whether or not they're water-soluble, etc.

If you really don't want to use SLS you can mix baking soda with your shampoo or 'cone-free conditioner and use it, but a lot of people find baking soda makes their hair really tangly.
