As LHC and its membership continue to grow, the moderation staff appreciates the assistance many members provide by reporting posts. Whenever you see suspicious posts or members, spam, advertising, or serious discord among members on a thread, we encourage you to report such posts to the moderators to handle rather than attempting to defuse the situation yourself. While any of us may be contacted individually, using the Report Post feature sends a message to everyone on the moderation staff which enables any of us to respond; some mods choose to remain invisible and, therefore, may be online undetected at any time. When one or more of us looks into a reported post, we then decide whether or not immediate action is required. Also, this feature is ONLY to be used for the above situations; use PMs to contact us otherwise (see list above for links to profiles).

To report a post, click on the black triangle containing an exclamation point located at the lower left of the post under the poster's avatar/member info. It looks like this: http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/images/buttons/report-40b.png

This will bring up a field to enter a message containing the reason for reporting the post which is then sent to all moderators.
