I'm in love with EO's Honey and Chamomile shampoo, but I'm wondering if it's the problem with making my hair darker. (I thought it was OCM, but now I'm not so sure since my length is ALSO darker. I'm confused because I thought if anything, the honey and chamomile would make it lighter, not darker...

Here are the ingredients:

Does anyone see a problem with any of these ingredients?

I don't see anything that jumps out as a hair darkener in either of those. Do you use a styler or anything on your hair? The only thing I can think of commonly in hair care items that might darken is castor oil.

Also, could it be that your hair just seems darker since it's winter, and it would be getting less lightening/highlighting from being in the sun?

I can't see a problem with the ingredients.... Does your hair feel better than before? Better moisturized? My hair looks a lot darker when it's really well conditioned. Have you tried clarifying yet? After that, my hair usually looks right again and also feel different. (I get conditioner build-up because the one I use contains many oils. After a few too many uses, my hairy feel greasy on the length, never quite dry and also almost dark brown)

It's probably just because it's winter I'd imagine, nothing in the ingredients jumps out at me. I personally use Lush's The Blonde shampoo bars and Marilyn hair moisturiser and highly recommend these if you fancy gicving something else a try.
